About OEAC Network

Our Journey: From Vision to Impact (2020 - Present)

OEAC Network was founded in 2020 during one of the most challenging periods in Afghanistan's recent history. Amidst global pandemic and political uncertainty, a small group of passionate individuals came together with a singular vision: to empower Afghan youth through technology and education.

The organization began humbly with just 5 volunteers operating from a small office in Kabul's Karte Parwan district. The initial focus was on providing basic digital literacy to students who had lost access to traditional education due to COVID-19 lockdowns. Within the first six months, OEAC reached over 500 students through online workshops and distributed 100 refurbished computers to underprivileged families.

By 2021, recognizing the growing need for structured learning, OEAC launched its first digital platform - the OEAC Academy. This online learning management system offered courses in English, programming, and business skills. The response was overwhelming, with over 3,000 students enrolling in the first year alone.

The year 2022 marked a significant expansion. OEAC established its presence in Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, and Kandahar provinces. The organization also launched the OEAC Digital Library, providing free access to thousands of academic resources. Partnerships with international NGOs and local businesses helped secure funding for new initiatives.

In 2023, OEAC introduced the Blood Donation Management System (BDMS), a life-saving platform connecting donors with hospitals. This innovation earned recognition from the Ministry of Public Health. The organization also launched its News Agency, providing reliable, unbiased journalism to Afghan citizens.

Today, in 2025, OEAC Network has grown into a comprehensive development organization with:

  • 50,000+ beneficiaries reached through various programs
  • 12 provinces with active operations and volunteers
  • 8 digital platforms serving education, health, business, and media needs
  • 120+ partner organizations including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector
  • 350+ active volunteers contributing to our mission
